Chronicles of Elyria
Hello everyone! I've recently discovered this game in development that was been kickstarted some time ago.

So i've deciced to open this topic for discuss about.

Chronicles of Elyria utilizes a new business model never before seen in MMOs. Different from a monthly subscription or a Free to Play (F2P) game with a cash shop, CoE uses a Spark of Life system. This hearkens back to the coin-op arcade model where, for $30, players buy a Spark of Life that grants a Soul the opportunity to live for between 10 and 14 months, before establishing your Soul in a new character of your choosing. (Note: 1 Spark of Life comes with purchase of the game.)

In CoE, bodies age and die, but Souls live forever. In your new body, whether that be your heir or someone else entirely, your Skill Ramp will get you back up to power quickly & allow you to advance further than in your previous life.

It seems a MMORPG where you character lives and dies for age, you start from child and cross your entire life.

The gist of the game, is you live the life of this individual, in any number of countless roles that you would choose, from merchant, to soldier, to noble, to thief, to assassin and more..

Your life could naturally last from 10-16 months, real time, and your character ages the entire time.

Once your character dies of old age, you will have to buy another spark of life to reincarnate yourself...but every life is not a complete restart.

In addition, death in this game outside of old age, does not truly kill you...it merely shaves a little bit of time from your age.

Seems a very promising game.
