Kids Scratching the Games and Messing with Hardware
A lot of times kids will scratch CDs and maybe do things like put jelly inside the console. Of course, sometimes what they do seems cute, but still, the equipment is often a large investment. In that case, how can you protect the games and also do you feel that cartridges - like what the Nintendo Switch has now - are a better idea, given what was mentioned?

What the Nintendo Switch has come up with now has ruled out all cartridges . They now have brought cases that are made of leather. As if it's not enough, it's Zelda inspired. A classy look from the outside and still the inside is designed with wool in a way that the device is safe.

I think that a better idea is to simply keep games away from small kids and possibly older ones also. Anyway, myself, I have no problem with CD Roms, and in fact, sort of see cartridges as sort of out-of-date. Nonetheless, though, I don't think the Nintendo Switch moved to cartridges because of kids.
