Rule the Mid Lane as the Goddess of Sorcery

Whether to activate Aspect of Ruin depends largely on your role, matchup, and preferred playstyle. For supportive play or against ability-spamming opponents, the aspect may provide excellent value. For mid-lane burst damage or against mobile enemies, the standard Spell Eater often performs better.

If you are not against a burst mage, you might consider putting extra early points into Triplicate Form instead of Repel Magic for better early game pressure on the lane.

Hecate is a very flexible goddess, you can experiment with various setups based on opponents or teammate.

This build emphasizes high burst damage, cooldown reduction, and late-game scaling, but sacrifices early penetration and crowd control.

Early Game

Focus on clearing waves efficiently with your Spell Eater. Use your Triplicate Form to set up guaranteed hits with Spell Eater on enemy gods when they step too close. Place your shield on yourself when enemy junglers threaten a gank or when trading damage with your lane opponent.

Mid Game

As you complete Chronos' Pendant and begin working on your next core items, your impact significantly increases. Begin rotating to side lanes for gank opportunities when you have priority in mid. Your ultimate becomes a valuable tool for setting up kills during these rotations.

Late Game

In team fights, your role is to:

• Establish and charge your Spell Eater with enemy abilities to boost its damage
• Poke the enemy team from the distance
• Use your ultimate to catch fleeing enemies or force Purification Beads
• Apply your shield on frontliners to maximize damage output
• Use Triplicate Form to ensure your Spell Eater connects on priority targets

Keep Spell Eater active during team fights. When engaging, deploy it first to absorb enemy abilities. The more abilities used against it, the higher its damage output. Monitor its charge level using the indicator above your character portrait.

In the mid to late game, place your shield primarily on your tanks when they initiate attacks on the enemy team, as it delivers significant burst AoE damage. This is more effective than placing it on yourself, especially when they engage the enemy backline

Open the Gates serves two primary purposes:

• Force enemies to use Purification Beads.
• Pull enemies lacking beads toward you and your team for quick elimination.
